Michelle Vogrinec, Managing Director
Mother of 3 gorgeous boys and creator of GAIA Natural Baby, Michelle is passionate about the environment, herbalism, homeopathy and leading a natural and organic lifestyle. Always reading, Michelle likes to keep up to date with the latest and greatest and is always researching natural alternatives, eco friendly ways and complimentary medicine.
Michelle focuses her attention on getting to know her customers and their needs, attending at conferences and expos, research, product development (THE creator our gorgeous formulations!) and human resources.
Michelle is also passionate about women in business and if often featured in many articles and is a regular contributor to many magazines.
Simon Vogrinec, General Manager
Father of the 3 gorgeous boys, Simon has spent the past 20 years in the hair and beauty industry in a wide range of roles - qualified hairdresser and salon owner, platform artist, educator, sales representative as well as roles in sales management for multi-national corporations.
Simon spends most of his time talking! He looks after our wholesale clientele and national team of outstanding distributors and sales agents. He also looks after our export division, managing and assisting our team of fabulous international distributors. Simon leads the staff at head office to provide you with good systems and outstanding customer service.
Rebecca Stimpson, National Pharmacy Manager
After selling her sales distribution company, APCO, which she owned and operated for 20 years, Rebecca works in a consulting capacity for GAIA, travelling around the Country conducting all negotiations concerning pharmacy groups nationally and managing our our team of passionate pharmacy agents in each state. With almost 40 years of experience in the pharmacy industry, there is little that Rebecca doesn’t know! Considering her extensive work with major baby care brands and adding her time as Brand Manager of Decoré to her arsenal, the mother of four and nanny to five, is a veritable force to be reckoned with!
Charles Bayliss, Operations & Warehouse Manager
Charlie has spent over 30 years in various managerial roles for several Australian personal care and salon product manufacturers, gaining invaluable knowledge and ‘know-how’ in all areas of sales, warehousing and cosmetic manufacturing. After 6 years of running his own successful sales distribution company, Charlie traded his station wagon for a forklift – overseeing all stock movement and warehouse operations at GAIA head office and it is his job to ensure we never run out of stock! Charlie also manages our warehouse team and casual staff.
AUBREY MACKESSACK, STOREMAN
With 47 years in the manufacturing industry in
Australia and overseas, Aubrey is a wealth of knowledge in warehousing procedures. Quite the fussy storeman, he has been responsible for the creation and implementation of a number of GAIA’s operation processes, assists with the picking of orders and keeps the warehouse ship-shape! Our suppliers always comment that we have the cleanest and most well organised warehouse they have ever seen!
MICHELE ALLAN, DESPATCH
Michele has previously worked in customer service roles and as a business owner. The 'Jill of all trades' in our warheouse, Michele will get it done, whether it be answering the phones, packing an order or hand filling in emergencies, she is a great all rounder. Michele spends most of her time in our warehouse getting the orders packed and out the door and if you need a gift hamper, she is the one who puts the finishing touches on the beautifully gift boxed present for your friends and family.
There is also a team of casual warehouse personnel to help Michele when the rush is on, which is quite often!
OUR CASUALS
Our warehouse team includes a bunch of wonderful casual employees that assist with the assemblage of our giftsets as well as filling, labelling and boxing our products. Two of our regular casuals include Monika and Anthony, who run around like ants on a mission! We also have Helen, who is currently studying her VCE that comes in during the school holidays.
Belinda Greenwood, Marketing Co-ordinatorBelinda has been responsible for the public relations campaign for GAIA Natural Baby for the first 4 years working while for a boutique PR agency and multi-national advertising and PR firm before being offered the role of Michelle's PA and Marketing Co-ordinator. She handles most of the marketing responsibilities alleviating some of these functions from
Michelle’s already packed portfolio.
Originally from a background in retail buying for department and specialty stores, Belinda has worked in PR for over 7 years for many well-known Australian companies and a plethora of household brands - from shoes and health products to homewares, appliances and even tyres!
ANGELA MURE, Hospital & Healthcare RepresentativeAngela was one of the very first people to ever buy GAIA Natural Baby products some 7 years ago and she still adores our products. So much so that she now represents GAIA in the hospitals and healthcare arena. Her background is in sales, customer service and business management and being a mother to her two beautiful children. Now they are both at school she is out on the road working with products she has a passion for.
AISHA DE MISKIC, CUSTOMER SERVICE/ADMINAisha has spent the last 5 years sucessfully running all aspects of customer service and the office for another business before recently making the move to GAIA. A mother of two, Aisha herself understands babies and their needs and is on hand to assist you with all your needs. She is the person who you will speak to when you call or email.
CLAUDE WARE, BookkeeperA qualified Accountant, Claude brings his excellent knowledge and experience from a variety of industries and organisations and is the official "bean counter", looking after our Accounts Department ensuring the good health of our finances. He is the one you need to suck up to get paid or open an account! Surrounded by paperwork day-in day-out, he manages to take it all in his stride and keep the ball rolling.
Christine Turner, Data Entry Operator
Chris has a strong background in administration after working in a primary school for some 30 years and works from her home-office in Diamond Creek. She has a great eye for detail and accuracy which makes her the perfect candidate to maintain our databases and keep our stockist listing up to date - a hard task in itself!
Chris also forms part of our "Expo Team" and travels around Australia with Michelle and Belinda attending all the PBC Expos - you may have also seen her looking after Max, the face of GAIA Natural Baby and her grandson - yes Chris is Michelle's mum!
And lets not forget the people out on the road calling on our retail stockists. We have our very passionate baby store team, pharmacy brokers and natural and organic distributors working hard in each state.
